Controller

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual who will oversee the company's financial records and account personnel. You will be responsible for maintaining all procedures and controls related to the company's financial accounts.

 

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include:

  • Maintain all aspects of Cash Management - billings and collections, receivable forecasting, banking procedures and relations, cash flows, and prequalification information;
  • Review and File Quarterly taxes, NJ 927, and Year End W-2 and 1099 forms;
  • Review costs involving all insurance policies and year end audits;
  • Conduct monthly closings - reconciliations for accounts payable, accounts receivable and job cost reviews;
  • Analyze and record necessary adjustments in the General Ledger;
  • Prepare internal financial statements - balance sheet and income statement;
  • Maintain compliance with government agencies; and
  • Act as the point of contact for external auditors.

Qualifications

Candidates Must Possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or 5 - 7 years of related experience;
  • CPA preferred;
  • Must have knowledge of Sage Timberline Software;
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.); and
  • Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills.

Payroll / HR Administrator

Kyle Conti Construction is an award-winning industry leader specializing in heavy civil and environmental construction and infrastructure built on four generations of tradition, integrity, and quality. We are currently seeking a Full-Time detail-oriented Payroll / HR Administrator to perform the following tasks:

 

Responsibilities

Payroll

  • Prepare and process weekly payroll for union and non-union employees involving multiple unions and multiple states
  • Collect, review and enter all timesheet data into Timberline software
  • Process and enter all new hires
  • Calculate and process all tax payments, garnishments and 401k payments
  • Calculate and process all weekly and monthly union benefit payments
  • Process and submit all project related certified payroll reports
  • Maintain current knowledge of federal, state, and local, tax, wage and hour laws
  • Process all monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll compliance reports including W2s.
  • Additional Payroll functions as needed

Human Resources

  • Manage company benefits, recruitment, and Employee Policy manual
  • Manage all EEO compliance records and employee files
  • Recruit for open positions within all levels of the company
  • Participate in Payroll/Benefit/HR planning, training, and meetings
  • Identify opportunities for best practices, efficiency, and continued program optimization
  • Ensure compliance w/ company practices as well as local, state, federal laws and guidelines
  • Additional HR functions as needed

Qualifications

Qualifications include:

  • Experience working with Sage Timberline software
  • Experience with union agreements and rules
  • Experience with prevailing wage jobs, certified payroll and union reports
  • Familiar with HR and wage laws and requirements
  • Attention to Detail, Strong Organization skills, and Ability to Multitask
  • Capable of working with minimal supervision
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality while safeguarding sensitive employee and compensation information
  • Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills
  • Proficient w/ Microsoft Office suite (Outlook/Excel/Word), Specifically MS Excel

Project Manager in Heavy Civil Construction

We are looking for a Project Manager with experience in Heavy Civil Construction to join our staff.

 

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and Scheduling
  • Monitor Field Progress
  • Ensure coding is being performed correctly
  • Oversee and negotiate vendor and subcontractor purchase orders and agreements
  • Review and follow up on costs, billing, as-builts
  • Change Orders/Submittals
  • Project Close-out

Qualifications

Candidates must possess:

  • 10+ years experience as a Project Manager in the Heavy Civil Construction field
  • Thorough understanding of standard construction practices, process and methods
  • Excellent Computer and Communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Senior Estimator in Heavy Civil Construction

We are a Heavy Civil / Environmental Construction company looking for an experienced Estimator to join our staff.

 

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include:

  • Research available projects, gather all details about each project, make sure we are prequalified and/or submit any necessary paperwork to become qualified.
  • Create RFQs, examine plans and specs, perform take-offs
  • Complete cost portion of a bid using Bid2Win estimating software.

 

Qualifications

Candidates Must Possess:

  • 10-15 years of experience as an Estimator in the Civil Environmental field.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Be thorough in calculations of costs
  • Have the determination to work needed hours to compile complete and concise bids.
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong Computer skills, including Bid2Win, Agtek.
